We’re a dessert restaurant in Nolita named after a WWII net-laying vessel. Our chai has been known to cause involuntary sighing. The music is curated, the wine list is short and perfect, and the desserts are the reason you came. Come for the pastry, stay for the story.

The origin story
A ship that
wasn't even
a submarine.
In 1943 the U.S. Navy launched the USS Cinnamon (AN-50) — a net-laying ship that protected harbors in the South Pacific. Nico's great-uncle Lee served aboard her. He came home with a brass keychain, a faded crew photo, and a bag of cinnamon sticks from a Philippine market.
